Sandy Koufax mowed down 12 San Diego batters while not walking anyone as the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the San Diego Padres by a score of 6 to 2 at Dodger Stadium.

Babe Herman had a good evening at the plate, supporting Koufax with 4 RBI's. He doubled plating a run in the 1st inning and smacked a three-run homer in the 5th inning. Los Angeles banged out 9 hits on the night.
